Individual Housing Contracts
Many apartments use a traditional “by the apartment” housing contract, in which each resident shares the same financial liabilities. At The Retreat on Milledge, we know this arrangement isn’t always ideal and could put a student’s living arrangement at risk if a roommate doesn’t uphold their end of the bargain. To provide parents and students with peace of mind, we use individual housing contracts. With this, students will each sign an individual contract, making them responsible for their bedroom and only their bedroom. This way, there’s no unnecessary liability imposed upon students or their cosigners.
